Start date
From September 16, 2024, it will become mandatory in Belgium to apply for union status certificates (T2L(F)) via the PoUS system.
Impact - procedure
The implication of this new procedure / this new system has a major operational impact.
Taking into account the applicable procedures, T2L(F) declarations can only be submitted as follows from September 16, 2024:
The exporter must grant a power of attorney / role so that Customs Support can submit the T2L(F) declarations on behalf of the exporter.
To facilitate this, you can read the document ‘UUMDS_EN_Delegation_Activation_Full’ (click to download) that shows step by step how the exporter should set this up.
It is important that the exporter goes through the procedure under section “1. Creating a delegation by DELEGATOR” (P.1-4) of this document and then contacts us with the generated code (via MASP@customssupport.com and the operational mailbox known to you).

Additions
- If your company acts as a declarant, it is additionally important that a TAXUD role is assigned to Customs Support. If you need more information / guidance for this, you can always contact us.
- Currently, the further operational impact (submission of T2L(F) declarations via PoUS) is being analyzed within Customs Support.
